New York, NY – November 3, 2009 – Syfy’s annual 31 Days of Halloween, sparked by the Ghost HuntersHalloween Live Countdown, scared up a record number of Adults 18-34 (319,000) and Adults 18-49 (759,000), along with nearly 1.5 million (1.48 million) total viewers, during its month-long spook-a-thon from October 1-31.
“In the past, scientists were easy to recognize, white lab coats, horn rimmed glasses, and a collage degree. Today’s scientists blend in a little bit better, backwards facing hats, cargo shorts and t-shirts. The equipment however is no less impressive, and the purpose hasn’t changed, to discover and learn about the world around us,” reports Cynthia Boris for SFUniverse.com.
“They see dead people and they don’t use any sixth sense, either. They use EMF (electromagnetic field) detectors in trying to corroborate instances of EVP (electronic voice phenomena). This is science. They don’t need no stinkin’ psychics,” reports Diane Werts for Newsday.com.

Steven Gonsalves (TAPS) has recently talked about a Ghost Hunters spin-off involving himself and TAPS member Dave Tango, featuring a location from the original show’s 4th season. Gonsalves offered little information about the location, only saying that fans would, “crap their pants.”

On Track to Be Biggest Hit in Syfy History – Syfy has ordered 13 episodes of its smash hit original series Warehouse 13 for a second season. Warehouse 13 is slated for a summer 2010 return.

Rob Orrison said he was skeptical when he got a call from the “Ghost Hunters” about the Brentsville Courthouse Historic Centre. “They called me randomly out of the blue, and I didn’t believe the guy at first,” said Orrison, site manager at the center in Brentsville, a community in Prince William County, reports Keith Walker for the Richmond Times Dispatch.
