Planets. Yes, please.
(Space.com) Astronomers have pinned down some details of an exotic nearby alien planet that’s almost as dense as lead. The exoplanet, called 55 Cancri e, is 60 percent larger in diameter than Earth but eight times as massive, researchers revealed Friday (April 29). That makes the alien world the densest solid planet known — It’s twice as dense as Earth.

Alien life found in CI1 carbonaceous chondrites

Dr. Richard B. Hoover, an astrobiologist at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, says he has found conclusive evidence of alien life in the fossils of bacteria found in an extremely rare class of meteorite called CI1 carbonaceous chondrites. There are only nine of these meteorites on Earth.

The attendees attended several different science talks, including a presentation by Natalie Batalha, deputy science team lead of NASA’s planet-hunting Kepler mission. Batalha discussed Kepler’s latest finds, which were just announced: 1,235 potential alien planets, including 54 that may be habitable by life as we know it.

This has nothing to do with the paranormal, but I saw these guys (We Were Promised Jetpacks) play at the Grog Shop in Cleveland last night and they were awesome, so I thought I would give them a mention on my site. The Martin Aircraft Company has created the first jetpack that will be commercially available, the Daily Mail reports.
The jetpack has a height of five feet, width of five-and-a-half feet and a length of five feet, and features a dual-propeller construction that uses fans to provide lift instead of jets of exhaust gas.
The company’s chief executive, Richard Lauder, expects the jetpacks will be sold to a variety of different buyers–from emergency service personnel and private users to the military.

Honda CR-Z
PARANORMAL DAILY NEWS (2/20/2010) – I was driving home from a grocery store in Columbus, OH and spotted the unseen Honda CR-Z hybrid sports coupe at a stop light. All Honda logos on the hood and rear end of the car were covered up with what appeared to be colored duct tape. This must be a test drive. I noticed the car passing through an intersection and quickly performed a u-turn and grabbed my iPhone to take these photos, which you can see here.
