Green Hornet director Michel Gondry is teaming up with Ghost World scribe Daniel Clowes to create a time-travel drama starring Ellen Page (Juno). “I’m developing a screenplay with a writer right now about kids who travel [into] the future by mistake and a machine [that] keeps people younger… ehhh, it’s complicated to explain,” said Gondry.
MTV reports that the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind director is working with Clowes and Keith Bunin, a writer from HBO’s In Treatment, on a time-travel movie about young people visiting the future.
Gondry confirms that Ellen Page will star as Nancy, which is the same name as one of the protagonists of Rudy Rucker’s 1984 sci-fi novel The Master of Space and Time.
