“George Noory says his popular “Coast to Coast” overnight radio show will be back on a New York station shortly,” reports NYDailynews.com.
“Coast to Coast was dropped by WABC (770 AM) two weeks ago for the Doug McIntyre show, which WABC program director Laurie Cantillo called “a better fit” in discussing the kinds of current and political topics dealt with by other WABC hosts,” reports NYDailynews.com. “Noory said he was disappointed over the cancellation, but encouraged at the “overwhelming” support from New York listeners who see “Coast” as an alternative to almost everything else on the radio.”
“I’ve gotten thousands of e-mails,” he said. “He also said he has been contacted by other city stations and expects a new deal will be worked out soon.”
