“Dark Void” centers on a cargo pilot named Will who, after crashing in the Bermuda Triangle, ends up in a parallel universe where a band of humans must fight an alien threat that had long been thought extinct. Will and the other humans are outmanned but have a number of weapons and powers to help them beat back the alien incursion.

So, if Capcom’s “Dark Void” becomes a hit when it comes out in 2010, Brad Pitt’s production company Plan B Entertainment will already be ahead of the game, as they’ve announced they now have the rights to make a film based on the unreleased title.

Dark Void is a game owned by Capcom, a developer and publisher of video games. It will release Dark Void for Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Sony’s Playstation across North America and Europe in January 2010. Subsequently, Reliance Big Entertainment and Plan B will make a film on the same theme.
