“Roger Marsh is director of communications for the Mutual UFO Network, the National UFO Examiner and the National Paranormal News Examiner for Examiner.com. He also is president and CEO of Tremont Avenue Productions, which produced the full-length film “Mars Attacks Mt. Pleasant” and the docudrama “Haunted R&R Station,” both of which were filmed locally,” reports Linda Harkcom for PittsburghLive.com.

“Tremont also filmed the yet-to-be released “Legend of Lillian Peacock” in the historic Geyer Theater in Scottdale. Marsh said the 12-minute comedy was inspired by rumors about real ghosts at the theater,” reports Harkcom. “Marsh had researched the real-life Lillian Peacock, who grew up in Scottdale in the early 1900s before her family moved to California. She went on to become a silent film actress who, in just 10 years, starred in 109 movies for Universal Studios. Marsh learned that Peacock died suddenly at 28 after being injured in a movie stunt.”

“I thought to myself, if that young lady grew up in Scottdale, around the time the Geyer was opened I’ll bet she performed on that stage and I’ll bet she had a boyfriend she had to leave behind,” Marsh said. “From that he created a story that involves the death of the boyfriend before Peacock leaves for Los Angeles, their reunion after their deaths and some modern counterparts – The short film features actors who live in Scottdale, including Philip Haddad and Kat Post,” reports Harkcom. “Eventually it will be available to residents on DVD,” Marsh said.

According to Harkcom, Marsh’s newest project is InCahoots.TV, which he calls, “our new home for stories of passion, resource and mystery.” After focusing on full-length films, he said, he wanted to try something different. “I thought, let’s try making webisodes. We will produce a full-length film and chop it up into pieces for the Web.”
