Spirits, dust or a camera malfunction?

“Photo abnormalities do occur.  Sometimes it is nothing more than a piece of lint on the lens, or electrical interference.  But, occasionally there are photographs which contain abnormalities which defy explanation,” writes Victoria Dennison for the Sacramento Paranormal Examiner.

“Some common errors which could produce abnormalities in photographs are camera straps, hair, and electrical interference when using a digital camera,” writes Dennison. “Other examples that produce weird images are flying insects, cigarette smoke and double exposures. Sometimes, it is the result of a malfunctioning camera.”

According to Dennison, “Sometimes faces are seen in the orb upon close examination. This fuels the belief that orbs are Spirits. Many believe that orbs are the first manifestation before ectoplasm is formed to produce physical materialization. Frankly, there is no scientific evidence that Orbs are spirits. ”

Dennison’s final word, “If in doubt, throw it out.”
