Several witness strange lights over Perth
“The photograph, which shows a green saucer-like shape and a reddish light to the left, was taken looking east over the Perth Hills towards Kalamunda at about 7.45pm on Friday night,” reports PerthNow.
“The PerthNow reader who submitted the photo said, “This is a genuine photo I took last night. It has not been tampered with in any way (apart from cropping and downsize to jpg).”
“The photographer stresses that he did not believe he had photographed a UFO, but has no explanation for the coloured lights which appeared on the digital images.”
Another PerthNow reader, Fleur posted this: “In regards to the lights — when we lived in the hills in Kelmscott we saw three extremely fast lights move towards the coast — there was no sound and we just put it down to airforce jets — however we really weren’t convinced that jets can actually move at that speed.”

I went out to a venue on 17-2-2011 a Thursday night, at 3am on the same night, now the 18-2-2011 I went out side to let my dog have a call of nature, in the western sky looking from my house in Thornlie towards the hills in Kalamunda I saw a light at least 5-10 times brighter than any other star, so bright that I awoke my mother so she could see it too. In the same part of the sky in January I also saw this same sort of light. When I tried to call a friend on my phone the light disappeared by racing away faster than anything I’ve seen move in the sky before?
I really don’t know what I’ve seen? but my search led me to your page…I did see this on another night and got another person to wittness it. At first I thought it to be a planet because it was far to bright to be the space station…but I found no events of planets or other things being visible form Perth sky @ 3am on the 18-2-2011.
If it was a planet please let me know?
Sorry correction required, I was looking east not west, as Thornlie is west of Kalamunda…when i saw the light in the sky!
