The Huffington Post wants to know, 'Are Psychics real?'
I made an appointment with a psychic. She called the morning of our appointment to cancel because, she said, something unexpected came up. I still rescheduled. Am I crazy?
Is there such a thing as a psychic who can charge by the hour and tell you what is going to happen in your life? I tend to think not. I have had psychic experiences in my life but they came out of the blue. I could not have planned or charged for them, and I felt they were due to my deep connection with another human being.
I believe that there is much more to the universe than what we can perceive through our 5 senses. I also believe that there is such a thing as mental telepathy, where you can transmit what you are thinking and it can be picked up without words, e-mails, texts or twitters. I have had that experience many times with people I am close to.
I also know that if someone is looking at me, I can feel that from across the room. I didn’t perceive it with one of my five senses, but I know it is happening in some other way. When I look over, sure enough, that person is looking at me. How did I know?

Paranormal Daily News’ take: In our experience, real Psychics don’t charge by the hour or advertise their gift. So have you gone to see a psychic? Do you think there is such a thing?

Ughhhh Okay, so your comment that real psychics don’t charge by the hour or advertise their services… We do if that’s what we do for a living… how else would we eat or put a roof over our kids’ heads? I think what you should put instead is that real psychics don’t usually have big signs with crystal balls or palm logos on them and stay open 24 hours in a strip mall. There is nothing wrong with charging for a service, after all, you wouldn’t walk into your therapist’s office or doctor’s office and demand that they see you for free right? We are providing our time and services and those of us that are good are worth the $, and I have many clients that would agree. I do what I do (psychic medium) because I love to do it and I’m good at it. And the fact that people will pay me is a bonus because that means I get to do what I love to do and make a living at it which also means that I am a HAPPY Psychic, which means that I am a more ACCURATE psychic
So, please, please before making blanket statements, do some research, homework, etc first. If I assumed that all paranormal investigators were as idiotic and unprofessional as Brian Harnois (dude run!), that wouldn’t be very fair to the rest of you would it? (I happen to be a paranormal investigator as well, just throwing out an example here).
