Ghostbusters

Ivan Reitman revealed to MTV that he is definitely interested in doing the upcoming GhostBusters movie. He told them; “I’ve never ruled [directing it] out. I certainly was responsible in every capacity for the first two movies so I certainly wouldn’t wander away from the third one—especially if it’s something we all think is worth doing.” They really are pulling out ALL the stops in bringing back the original cast, it would be great to have Ivan back as well. Earlier Dan Akroyd revealed GhostBusters 3 will be all about cadets. The focus of the new film will be about a new generation of cadets being trained as Ghost Busters. I love the premise.

Dan told MTV; There will be a whole new generation that has to be trained, and that whole new generation will be led by an individual who you’ll all love when you meet him but I’m not going to tell you anything yet,” teased Aykroyd. “They’ll be lots of cadets, boys and girls, who’ll be learning how to use the psychotron, the accelerators and all the new stuff, the neuron splitter, which is going to be the interplaner, interceptor and all these great tools that they’re going to have, to flip from dimension to dimension.”
