First we need to define PSI - PSI refers to the interaction of mind over matter (or reality) and vice-versa.
According to many recent surveys, more than half of the population believes in some kind of paranormal activity, and that is without including religious beliefs that often reflect paranormal influence of a god.
Although many scientific researches have been done in the past few decades, the scientific community generally discards them without even verifying their methodology. The main reason for this is to maintain their own credibility.
Do these scientists give good reasons for such discard? Most of the time no. They mainly criticize logically the possibility of such phenomenon but refuse to look at the details and possible evidence.
They’ll say for example that the human mind can not send enough energy to affect the external world directly. How do they know that? Haven’t they heard of how Jules Verne has been ridiculized with his brillant and realistic ideas? Probably but they’ll simply say, “it’s not the same” or “what Jules Verne imagined is proven by physics laws today”.
Yet, how can something that no scientist accepts to study will ever be part of tomorrow’s laws? Of course it won’t until many people get involved and request for real answers.
No one can be blamed for their beliefs and I personnaly accept very easily that some people don’t think PSI is possible. They can and I won’t judge them for that, but will they do the same? Again a big no.
They’ll be the first to ridiculize me saying I’m naive, blind, daydreaming or simply stupid. Which is the most stupid? The one looking for answers or the one bashing everyone who thinks differently?
Of course we won’t get to the bottom line of this today, but I’m working on making a small step forward on such research. This is the reason I have designed a website aimed at improving PSI abilities through online games with statistics logging, that will be used to provide basis for further research, as well as an insight on the impressive luck some people may have.
